You should often check your spark plug wires. When the engine is running and you are in a dark place, look at the wires. Check for arcing or blue sparks that show damage. Disconnect one wire at a time and remove it from the spark plug as well as ignition coil terminal, checking for corrosion to ensure that it fits tightly on both terminals.
