Remove the rubber boot from the headlight assembly.

Start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts, raising the front of the vehicle, and placing it on jackstands. Remove the left or right front wheel and then the inner fender splash shield. Locate the turn signal bulb holder, turn it counterclockwise to remove it, and take out the turn signal bulb. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Test the headlight operation, then close the hood.

To replace the front turn signal bulbs, start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts, raising the front of the vehicle, and placing it on jackstands. Remove the left or right front wheel and then the inner fender splash shield. Locate the turn signal bulb holder, turn it counterclockwise to remove it, and take out the turn signal bulb. Installation is the reverse of removal. For high-mount brake light bulbs, remove the assembly by taking out the mounting screws and washers, disconnect the electrical connector, and place the assembly on a workbench. Separate the bulb holder assembly from the lens and replace the bulb by pulling it straight out and pushing the new one in. Reassemble and use new mounting screws and washers if recommended by the manufacturer. To replace brake/tail/turn/back-up light bulbs, remove the assembly by pulling it to the rear, disengaging the locator pins, and then rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it. Replace the bulb by pulling it straight out and pushing the new one in. Reassemble the assembly. For license plate light bulbs, pry or slide the light assembly from the liftgate, remove the bulb socket by turning it counterclockwise, and replace the bulb. Reassemble following the reverse of removal. For side turn signal lamps (2008 and later models), slide the side light housing rearward, pull it out, disconnect the wiring, and reinstall it in reverse. To replace fog light bulbs, remove the front wheel, inner fender splash shield fasteners, and pull the shield back for access. Disconnect the wiring and remove the bulb by pinching the tabs on its base. Reinstall following the reverse procedure. For interior/map reading light bulbs, carefully pry the lens from the light assembly and replace the bulb by pulling it out. Reinstall following the reverse procedure. To replace cargo light bulbs, pry the cargo light assembly from the headliner, remove the bulb by turning it counterclockwise, and insert a new bulb by turning it clockwise to lock it into place. Reinstall the cargo light assembly in reverse.
