Ford Edge Parking Brake Shoe Parts Questions & Answers

    • Q: How to remove and install the parking brake shoe on a Ford Edge?
A: Begin by loosening wheel lug nuts and then raise the backside of the vehicle to support it on jackstands that are locked properly. Take away the wheel. Remove the Brake Disc. Remove the return spring from the parking brake shoe. Take off the parking brake shoe around the hub and bearing assembly. The reverse of removal is the installation. Verify parking brake operation and adjust as needed. Torque wheel lug nuts down tight.
