How to remove and install Brake disc on Ford Explorer?

First of all, to inspect disc brake assemblies, loosen lug nuts, raise the vehicle, remove the wheel and brake caliper without disconnecting the hose. Then, visually check the disc surface for score marks, check runout with a dial indicator, check thickness with a micrometer, and remove or refinish as needed. Reverse removal procedure for installation, lower vehicle, depress the brake pedal to check operation before use.
