How do I remove the thermostat and thermostat housing on Ford Edge?

To replace the thermostat and thermostat housing, disconnect the negative battery terminal and drain the cooling system. Remove the engine cover and locate the thermostat housing and detach the lower coolant hose and replace the housing cover if needed. On four-cylinder models, disconnect the heater hose and remove the bracket nuts and thermostat bolts. On 2.7L V6 models, remove the right front engine mount and bracket.
