Remove and isolate the negative terminal of the battery, apply a lock nut on the steering column shaft, and unscrew the lower bolt on the same. Optional, if you have access to it, remove the air deflector panel and the stabilizer bar for additional room, disconnect the power steering hoses by unscrewing them and if required, take out the power steering cooler. Remove both tie rod ends, take out the Rack And Pinion from cross-member and examine all brackets for mounting. For reassembly, the Rack And Pinion is to be repositioned along with the cooler and hoses; the tie rods have to be further reconnected; the steering wheel should remain in its place and the rest of the reassembly is done in the similar manner.
