How to remove and install the grille on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

For the models produced up to 1996, open the hood, unscrew the grille and separate it from the car body, while the installation process is rather the reverse of the abovementioned procedure and it is also necessary not to tighten the screws too much. For the models of 1997 through 2002, pull the hood release lever and then pull the hood release handle to open the hood, unscrew and remove the plastic shield in the top and back of the radiator and then remove the headlights. After that, unscrew four pin-type retainers situated at the base of the grille, undo the clips which encircle the periphery of the grille and pull out two grilles, while the procedure of their installation is the same as in the case of their demounting.
