How do you remove and install the shift range selector switch on Ford F-150?

To remove the shift range selector switch, initially, remove the knob from the switch and disconnect the electrical connection. Then, the two mounting screws are unscrewed and one can take the switch out of the dash. For its installation, the process should be done in the reverse of what has been listed above for its removal. Further, you have to use a screwdriver or panel tool to remove the switch from the instrument panel, to remove the second connector and to take out the switch.
