Q: How to remove and install a steering knuckle on a Ford F-150?
A: Apply the parking brake, loosen the lug nuts, and spindle or drive axle/hub nut. Remove the wheel, wheel speed sensor, brake caliper, and disc. Disconnect the tie-rod end and Control Arms from the steering knuckle. On 4WD models, remove the drive axle/hub nut and take the drive axle out of the hub. Support the drive axle with wire and remove the hub and bearing assembly if necessary. Installation is the reverse of removal.
