How do you remove and install a door latch, door lock cylinder, and handle on Ford Mustang?

To replace the door latch, the window must be raised and the door trim panel, as well as the watershield, must be taken off. Subsequently, unplug the door handle actuator rod along with the electrical connections of the latch and thereafter, undo the screws that fasten the latch onto the door. After that the manual lock and door lock cylinder actuating rods are to be removed from the latch and then the actuating cable for the inside door handle can be disconnected thus enabling the latch assembly to be removed from the door. For the door lock cylinder, raise the window and take out the door trim panel and watershield after that to get to the large hole in order to release the plastic clip holding the lock cylinder to the latch rod. There is a lock cylinder mounting bolt that can be accessed and then pulling out the lock cylinder from the door. To remove the outside handle, one has to get to the hole for releasing the plastic clip that locks the outside handle-to-latch rod and after that the retaining nuts of the outside handles have to be unscrewed and the handle removed from the door. Just as the removal process, installation is done in an order that is reversed.
