Lincoln MKX Intercooler

The Intercooler on vehicles such as Lincoln MKX is used in cooling compressed affinity so that it can accumulate more air and eliminate pre ignition. Intercoolers are mostly used in turbo and supercharged cars, and can be air-to-air or air-to-liquid depending on the manner in which heat is shed, where in the former, heat is transferred directly to the atmosphere and in the later it is done with the help of fluids. In engines with a few stages of forced induction, Intercooling is often located after the last stage to help raise power and fuel efficiency. Such older products that were used in cooling include excess fuel injection which is no longer in use but Intercoolers play a very vital role in making sure the Lincoln MKX vehicles get the optimal performance of their engines.
