Q: How to remove a steering wheel and airbag module on Lincoln Navigator?
A: Disconnect both the positive and negative battery cables and wait for two minutes. Disconnect the cable from the battery to the starter motor. Unscrew the module of the airbag and lift it out. Unplug electrical connectors that go into an airbag unit as well as a horn. Take off a bolt securing a steering wheel. Put a mark where it connects with a steering shaft, then release its connector. With the help of a puller take off this part from your car body. Make sure it will not rotate incidentally using tape or anything else you may find suitable enough in terms of fixing it firmly in its place without any chance for further movement during the usage period (like aligning the air-bag coil properly before installing).
