Mercury Lynx Air Filter

Air Filter is installed in Mercury Lynx vehicles to help guard the engine against damage that could be resulting from dirt and small particles. These filters need to be changed over time to ensure high operation of the engine and efficient use of fuel. The Mercury Lynx vehicles may have round air filter housing for the carbureted engines or the flat panel air filter for fuel injected engine, mounted separately in different areas as per the engine type. Replacement air filters are made to maintain filtration while at the same time allowing proper engine air flow; all while protecting the engine. Often analogues to conical paper filters, performance air filters improve airflow and are typically made of cotton gauze or synthetic material, increasing horsepower and fuel efficiency as well as the filter's useful life.
