To remove the alternator from 2008 and later models, follow these steps: Raise the vehicle. Disconnect the small gauge wiring from the alternator. Remove the right driveaxle if necessary. Remove the center support bracket. Remove the accessory splash shield. Remove the drivebelt. Remove the lower alternator air duct. Remove the large wire from the alternator's B terminal. Remove the alternator mounting nuts and unscrew the alternator mounting studs. Remove the alternator.
