    8. Turn the crankshaft 1-2/3 turns (clockwise) until the crankshaft keyway is at 11 o'clock. 9. Remove the timing chain for the front cylinder bank. Also, remove the water pump pulley and oil seal retainer from the rear of the exhaust camshaft. 10. Follow Steps 3 through 7 to remove the front (left side) camshafts, rocker arms, and lash adjusters. Loosen the bearing caps on the front camshafts in the reverse of the tightening sequence.
