To remove the engine cooling fan and fan shroud you should first take off the accessory drivebelt. Then, remove the flywheel/driveplate inspection cover and for safety get another person to jam a large prybar or screwdriver into the starter ring gear teeth so as to immobilize the crankshaft. Loosen the big bolt in the middle of the crankshaft pulley with the help of an assistant who prevents the crankshaft from rotating at the flywheel/ driveplate end. When there's a suitable puller, remove the crankshaft pulley but taking care not to lose the Woodruff key which should stay on the crankshaft slot. There are some pulers which exert force at the crankshaft pulley hub and they should be used while those that grip at the outer periphery should not be used. For installation, apply remarking multirPurpose grease or clean engine oil to the contact surface of oil seal on the crankshaft pulley hub To apply a dab of RTV sealant to the front end of the keyway in the crankshaft pulley. Insert the crankshaft pulley placing the keyway of it into the Woodruff key in the crankshaft. If required, make use of a large washer and bolt to locate the crankshaft pulley properly and thereafter, turn the bolt half a turn counter clockwise and tighten again up to the crankshaft pulley bolt torque specification. The remaining steps for installation are as follows and they move in reverse direction to removal process. Last, check the oil level using dip stick and take for a test drive and check for oil stains.

Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands.
