Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, then remove the front wheel. Next, take out the fasteners retaining the fender inner splash shield. Remove the headlight housing, followed by the fender-to-rocker panel bolts and the fender-to-door pillar bolt, which includes the two lower mounting bolts at the rear of the wheel opening and the fastener at the door pillar. After that, remove the fastener retaining the fender to the headlight housing opening and the fender upper mounting fasteners, including the remaining fender mounting bolts. Detach the fender, ensuring to have an assistant support it while moving it away from the vehicle to prevent damage to the surrounding body panels. If the right-side fender is being removed, disconnect the antenna. Finally, installation is the reverse of removal.
