Chill the front wheel lug nuts, lift the car, put jackstands, and then remove the front wheel. Take off the rocker panel molding end cap by loosening the screws holdin the end cap in place. Pop out the rear fender bolt cover gently by using a flat head of trim tool until clips are released then remove the upper rear fender bolt. Loosen the cowl panel grille. For the models of 2015 and later, there is the triangle sail panel on the front part of the mirror, and the fender mounting bolts can be unscrewed, then remove the bolts of the bumper cover bracket visible through the wheel well. For STD and AWD 2015 and later Edge models, the headlight housing has to be removed. Liberate the upper fender bolts and then the fender can be lifted, and it would be desire to get help to do that not to damage other body elements.
