To moisten the transmission, jack up the vehicle and secure on jack stands and then, then remove the transmission. In case of a leakage, the front pump seal/O-ring for automatic transmission must be replaced at this station. For cars with manual transmission: Remove the pressure plate and clutch disc: usually one should inspect or actually replace the clutch components and the pilot bearing. To avoid the flywheel/driveplate turning while tightening the bolts apply a screw driver, tighten the bolts to the correct torque within the specified torque sequence and in a gradual manner, increase the torque in three to four instances.
