How to removal and install Fuel Injector,Fuel Rail,Intake Manifold and Throttle Body on Ford F-250? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Disconnect electrical connectors from all components on the upper intake manifold and throttle body, marking them for reference. Remove the accelerator cable shield, if present. Detach the accelerator cable, automatic transmission throttle valve cable (if applicable), and cruise control cable. Mark and detach vacuum hoses, PCV system hose, air cleaner-to-throttle body tubes, and canister purge lines. Disconnect coolant lines if equipped. Unscrew the tube nut and detach the tube from the EGR valve. Remove upper intake manifold bolts and separate the upper manifold and throttle body. Clean mating surfaces, place a new gasket on the lower manifold, and reinstall the upper manifold. For the throttle body, disconnect the air intake duct, wires from air bypass valve and throttle position sensor, canister purge lines, and coolant lines if equipped. Remove the accelerator cable shield, detach the accelerator cable, and remove the throttle body bolts. Discard the gasket and reinstall after cleaning surfaces. For the fuel rail assembly, relieve fuel pump pressure, remove the upper intake manifold, disconnect fuel lines and injector connectors, and remove the fuel rail carefully. Reinstallation is in reverse. The fuel pressure regulator is removed by detaching the vacuum line, removing retaining screws, and replacing the regulator, gasket, and O-ring during installation. For fuel injectors, relieve fuel pressure, remove the upper intake manifold and fuel rail, and replace O-rings if necessary. Check the plastic hat covering the pintle for damage. Installation is in reverse. For 3-port and 6-port tank selector valves, relieve fuel pressure, raise the vehicle, disconnect the electrical connector, detach fuel lines, and remove the valve. Reinstall in reverse. Single or dual-function reservoir removal involves relieving fuel pressure, raising the vehicle, detaching fuel lines, and removing the reservoir. Reinstallation is in reverse. To remove the Powertrain Control Module (EECIV), detach the battery cable, locate the PCM connector, unplug it, and remove the module from under the left-side kick panel. Reinstall in reverse. For EEC Power and Fuel Pump relays, locate the relay box, lift the cover, and remove the relays by pulling them straight out of the relay box.

How to remove and install fuel injectors in diesel engine on Ford Bronco II? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect both battery ground cables for the 2.2L engine. Disconnect and remove the injection lines from the nozzles and injection pump, capping all lines and fittings. Remove the fuel return line and gaskets, and the bolts attaching the fuel line heater clamp to the cylinder head, positioning the heater out of the way. Remove the nozzles using a 27mm deepwell socket, and the nozzle washer (copper) and nozzle gasket (steel) using Tool T71P-19703-C or equivalent. Clean the nozzle assemblies with Nozzle Cleaning Kit, Rotunda 14-0301 or equivalent, and a suitable solvent, drying thoroughly. Clean the nozzle seats in the cylinder head with Nozzle Seat Cleaner, T83T-9527-B or equivalent. Position the new nozzle washers and gaskets in the nozzle seats, install the nozzles and tighten. Install the nozzle gaskets with blue side face up (toward nozzle). Position the fuel line heater clamps and install attaching bolts. Install the fuel return line with new gaskets on nozzles. Install the injection lines on the nozzles and injection pump and tighten the line nuts. Connect both battery ground cables. Run the engine and check for fuel leaks. For the 2.3L engine, disconnect battery ground cables from both batteries. Disconnect and remove injection lines from injection nozzles and injection pump, capping all lines and fittings using Protective Cap Set, T85T- 9395-A, or equivalent. Remove fuel return pipe and gaskets. Remove nozzles using a 21mm deep well socket. Remove holder gasket and nozzles gasket using 0-ring Tool T71P-19703-C or equivalent. Clean exterior of nozzle assemblies using brass brush from Nozzle Clean Kit 014-00301, or equivalent and a suitable solvent, drying thoroughly. Install new nozzle gasket and holder gasket in cylinder. Install nozzles and tighten to specification, using a 21mm deep well socket. Install fuel return pipe using new gaskets. Tighten nuts to specification. Install injection lines on nozzle and fuel injection pump and tighten line nuts to specification. Connect battery ground cables to both batteries. Run engine and check for fuel leaks.

    Q:
How do I remove and install fuel injectors and the fuel rail in gasoline engine on my Ford Bronco II? Posted by Customer
    A:
Remove the upper intake manifold. Depressurize the fuel system, disconnect the fuel lines, remove fuel supply and return line clips, detach the vacuum from the regulator of fuel pressure, disconnect fuel chassis inlet and outlet hoses. Disconnect the fuel injector wire harness plugs by labeling them. Remove fuel rail bolts. Disengage the fuel rail assembly from the injectors and remove injectors from intake manifold. Place these components on a clean surface. Examine injector O-rings for damage: replace them if necessary. Make sure that injector caps are clean. Lubricate O-rings with engine oil. Install these injectors into this rail of its gasoline. Position a new gasket of a fuel rail. Install this assembly into a lower intake manifold. Push down to seat O-rings. Tighten retaining bolts. Connect those two-line gas hoses. Attach that other vacuum tube to regulator. Connect injector wiring harnesses' connectors again. Plug in that one vacuum hose to regulator too. Then put back this air intake system together with throttle body. As for any leaks check or not. Besides, test these injectors using DVOM. Don't forget to unplug this connector of a wiring harness!
