The headlight housing is an expensive component to replace, but if a mounting tab is broken, it can be repaired with a kit from the dealer parts department. Before removing any light unit, ensure the light is switched off and be cautious of hot bulbs and lenses. For 2007 and earlier models, apply the parking brake, jack up the front of the vehicle, and support it on axle stands. Remove the headlamp bottom securing bolt after accessing it from under the vehicle, and for later models, remove the air cleaner housing and lower radiator splash apron for access. Lower the vehicle, support the hood, and remove the radiator grille. Disconnect the wiring multi-plug, unscrew the mounting bolts from the top, and withdraw the unit. For 2008 and later models, remove the grille, three headlight mounting screws, pull the headlight upward, and disconnect the wiring. The installation is the reverse of removal, and headlight alignment should be checked. For the front turn signal, remove the screw, withdraw the unit, and rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it. The installation is a reversal of removal. For direction indicator side repeaters, slide the assembly downwards, disconnect the bulb holder, and reinstall in reverse order. For the front fog light on 2007 and earlier models, release the retaining clip, disconnect the wiring, and remove the bulb. For 2008 and later models, raise the vehicle, release the clips on the foglight lens, remove the mounting screws, and disconnect the wiring. The installation is the reverse of removal. The rear fog light may not be installed on all models; to remove it, push the clip up and disconnect the wiring. For the rear light cluster on 2007 and earlier models, remove securing nuts and screws, carefully remove the cluster, and release the bulb holder. For 2008 and later models, remove the tail light trim panel, mounting nuts, and pull the assembly out. For the license plate light assembly on 2007 and earlier models, pry out the light unit and release the bulb. For 2008 and later models, remove the rear bumper cover, disconnect the wiring harness, and remove the light from the bumper cover. For the high-mount brake light on 2007 and earlier models, unscrew the securing screws, remove the light cover, and disconnect the wiring. For 2008 and later models, remove the push-pin retainers, release the clips, and disconnect the wiring. The installation for all components is the reverse of removal.
