Fully open the window, then, now you have to take off the door trim panel and the water shield. Chock off the door latch control from the cylinder rod. The cylinder retainer dip should be pulled out from the lock cylinder and door with the help of a pair of pliers and thus the lock cylinder from the door is to be slipped out. Insert the lock cylinder in the door opening from the side of the vehicle that is outside and then engage the retainer clip. Connect the lock cylinder rod to the door latch control, ensure that the lock function properly, install the water shield and the trim cover.

Install the lock cylinder into the door opening from the outside and push the retainer clip into place, making sure it's seated correctly.
