To remove the mirror, you have to unbolt the negative battery terminal if it is electric mirrors that are involved. The next is to free the quarter bezel between the front of the window opening the and pull it off. Manual mirrors: Cavity in the lower left corner allows to turn the rubber boot counter-clockwise to release the adjustment lever from the mirror bezel. For electric mirrors remove the wiring multi plug from the mirror control switch and unlock it, disconnect the electrical connection to expose the retaining bolt. The process of installation is the same as removal only a little carefully to ensure that the rubber grommet is not dropped inside the door panel because to retrieve it one has to remove the interior door trim.

Never work around windshield glass until it has been brought to room temperature. Never allow a metal tool to touch the glass.
