    This procedure applies to vehicles produced after 2011 with some exclusion for cars equipped with the 3,5L V6 engine. First of all, you need to pull the plug off the negative cable connected to the battery terminal. Third, take off the trim panel of the car at the left side of the luggage compartment. Then, you have to remove the Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) electrical connector after which you have to unscrew the fasteners and the module. Installation is done in the process of reversing the removal steps that has been mentioned above.

    The fuel pump module's speed, output, and pressure are controlled by the FPCM, located behind the right-rear seat back and trim panel. To access the module, remove or fold down the right-rear seat back cushion and pull back the trim panel. Next, disconnect the electrical connector from the FPCM. Then, remove the pin-type retainers or nuts as applicable, and take out the FPCM. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.

    The fuel pump driver module is located on the underside of the rear floor above the rear subframe on the left side. To remove it, raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the undervehicle panel in front of the left rear wheel. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump driver module. Remove the driver module mounting bolts and detach the module from the vehicle. To install, reverse the removal process.
