    Loosen the fulcrum retaining bolts and rotate the rocker arms out of the way of the pushrods. Simply lift the pushrods from their holes in the cylinder head. Loosen the nut or bolt and pivot the rocker arm to the side to remove the pushrod. Keep the pushrods in order so that they may be installed in their original positions and orientation.
