    1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. 2. Remove the driveshaft. 3. Disconnect the quick-connect fitting at the fuel tank jumper line. 4. Remove the EVAP canister. 5. Support the fuel tank with a floor jack and wood plank, or with a floor jack equipped with a transmission adapter head. 6. Remove the bolts from the front of the fuel tank straps. 7. Lower the front of the fuel tank just far enough to remove the fuel pump module shield. 8. After the shield has been removed, raise the tank and temporarily install the fuel tank strap bolts.
