What precautions should be taken when replacing spark plugs in Ford Mustang? Posted by Customer
    A:
First of all, to replace spark plugs, a qualified technician should use special tools. These include extensions, gap gauge, spark plug socket and torque wrench. Purchase plugs ahead of time and adjust gaps replacing them one by one. Ensure that the engine has cooled before removing it. Make sure you check new plugs for defects and adjust gaps on them. Use compressed air to blow out debris and apply anti-seize compound on threads. Forbid cross-threading with a rubber hose.
