Rear coil springs should always be replaced in pairs to maintain proper suspension balance and ensure even performance on both sides of the vehicle.

To reassemble the strut assembly, the rubber bumper and dust cover should be installed. The coil spring should be placed onto the strut, ensuring correct positioning onto the lower spring seat. The upper bearing assembly should be installed, aligning the notch on the bearing assembly with the clevis on the bottom of the strut. The damper rod nut should be installed and tightened to the specified torque. Finally, the spring compressor tool can be removed, and the strut/spring assembly can be installed.
