Do not drop the wastegate actuator or further dismantle the turbocharger, this may cause further damage to the wastegate actuator and or the turbocharger as well as the engine. For modification of 2.7L V6 engine, it is necessary to seize the engine lower shield, to drain off the coolant and to disconnect the outlet pipes from the air filter housing. As for the decreased left-side turbocharger, remove the outlet pipe, heat shield and electrical connectors. As with the right-side turbo, you will need to unmount the cowl panel, right front wheel, and the lower Charge Air Cooler intake pipe. Pull out the oil supply tube and substitute O-rings and then eliminate the turbocharger filter. Remove both the coolant tube and the wastegate control hose, and the oil return tube; replace the O-rings where appropriate.
