The electrical circuits of the vehicle are protected by fuses, circuit breakers, and fusible links and they include the main fuse/relay panel which is in the engine compartment and the interior fuse/relay panel which is in the passenger compartment. Fuses are available in small and large sizes and have the same blade terminal design that, while the medium and large fuses can be taken out by hand, the small ones have to be removed using pliers or the plastic fuse puller. In case of replacing a fusible link which has been blown, one should use an equivalent one; if the same blows, then it indicates that there is some problem in the circuit and it should be checked before replacing the link.
