Remove the antenna mounting base cap by carefully prying it off with a trim panel removal tool or a similar suitable tool, ensuring to protect the painted surface of the fender with tape. 3. Remove the antenna mounting base screws to detach the base from the fender. 4. Remove the glove box. 5. Disconnect the outer antenna cable from the inner antenna cable by unplugging the connector. 6. Loosen the front right wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle, and place it securely on jackstands. Remove the right front wheel. 7. Remove the inner fender splash shield from the right front wheel well. 8. Trace the outer cable to the rubber grommet where it goes through the vehicle body, noting the routing for reinstallation. 9. From inside the wheel well area, pull the grommet out of its mounting hole and then pull out the cable. 10. Pull the outer antenna cable through the grommet hole into the wheel well. 11. Remove the antenna mounting base and outer antenna cable from the wheel well area by pulling them straight up through the base mounting hole. 12. Installation is the reverse of removal.
