    Q:
How do you replace the oil cooler in a VB 1998 Ford Expedition? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the oil cooler, you need to disconnect the oil and coolant hoses from the cooler. On 2WD models, you use a 1/2-inch Allen wrench to remove the oil cooler housing from the oil filter adapter housing. On 4WD models, you remove a single bolt retaining the cooler to its bracket and two bolts holding the oil line assembly on the cooler. Then, you can pull the oil cooler from the adapter on the block.
