For installation, position the spring between the frame seat and the axle and carefully push it into place. Install the air spring solenoid by applying a light coat of silicone dielectric grease to the O-rings and inserting it into the air spring end cap, rotating it clockwise to the third stop, then pushing it to the second stop, and finally rotating it to the first stop. Install the solenoid clip. Place the air spring into the frame seat, install the push-on spring retainer clip, and reconnect the air line and electrical connector. Install the heat shield. Align the lower end of the air spring piston with the axle seat, push down on the piston to snap it into the axle seat at rebound. Install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and partially inflate the air springs by turning on the air suspension switch and the ignition key. Finally, fully lower the vehicle and allow the springs to fully inflate before tightening the wheel lug nuts to the specified torque.
