    To arrive at the desired thickness for new lifters, add the thickness of the original lifter (such as 0.650 mm) to the clearance you measured. Subtract the mid-range figure for ideal clearance (see the Specifications) from that number and you have the proper lifter thickness to order. Choose the closest available thickness to your requirement.
