This procedure is only for halogen bulbs; for the LED headlights the housing has to be replaced with the assembly. Before replacing halogen headlights first the cable that is connected to the negative terminal of the battery. Third, pull out the bulb access cover starting from a horizontal rotation then pulling it up. Pull out the electrical connector, twist the bulb anti-clockwise and gently remove it from the housing. Removal is the exact opposite of installation. Bear in mind that some models of vehicles employ High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights and that instead of regular halogen bulbs, these vehicles make use of the HID bulbs. Open the liftgate, remove the securing nut and screw from the light cluster, carefully remove the light cluster, and lift the retaining clips to separate the bulb holder from the light cluster.

Align the lugs on the bulb's locking flange with their corresponding cutouts in the headlight housing (To install a low-beam bulb, align the lugs on the bulb holder with the cutouts in the headlight housing), insert the bulb into the headlight housing and twist it clockwise to lock it into place. 2. When installing the new bulb, make sure that you don't touch it with your fingers, because the oil from your hands will cause the bulb to overheat and fail prematurely. If you do touch the bulb, be sure to wipe it off with alcohol and a clean soft cloth. 3. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal.

Test the headlight operation, then close the hood.

If the mirror is heated, connect the electrical connector. Position the mirror glass on the mirror motor and press the upper edge of the mirror glass into the upper mirror motor retainers.

Swing the spring retainer back into place and engage the spring ends with their respective hooks on the headlight assembly.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Remove the assembly by taking out the mounting screws and washers, disconnect the electrical connector, and place the assembly on a workbench. Separate the bulb holder assembly from the lens and replace the bulb by pulling it straight out and pushing the new one in. Reassemble and use new mounting screws and washers if recommended by the manufacturer.

Slide the side light housing rearward, pull it out, disconnect the wiring, and reinstall it in reverse.

1. Remove the license plate light assembly from the bumper and disconnect the electrical connector. 2. Remove the license plate light socket from its mounting base by rotating the socket counterclockwise and pulling it out. 3. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling it straight out. 4. Install a new bulb in the socket. 5. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
