    89. If the primary chain gear and its plate were removed, clean the mounting surface and the block, then install the sprocket and plate with a new gasket. If the secondary timing chain tensioners were removed, they cannot be reused. New tensioners must be installed. 91. The tensioner is installed to the correct depth when you hear a snap. Install the tensioner shoe. The plastic clip can now be removed with pliers. 92. Align the colored links with the marks on the VCT units and install the chain.
