If it is a 2004 model or an earlier one, you should first of all disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the key lock cylinder and steering column covers. Then, you have to unplug the electrical connector from the Turn Signal Switch and take off the switch by removing its retaining screws. The battery should be reconnected and reinstall by reversing the removal steps. The PCM is going to need a relearn procedure for optimum performance. For 2005 models and beyond, you will need to disconnect the battery cable, remove the steering wheel, drop down the tilt steering column, and uncover the steering column. Next is to tape clock springs with screws on 2005-2007 models as well as detach wiring before proceeding with Turn Signal Switch removal. Installation follows the reverse procedure.
