How do you remove and install the console on Ford Excursion?

Disconnect the cable(s) from the negative battery terminal(s). Open the console glove box and remove the storage compartment for access to the retaining screws. Remove the retaining screws securing the console to the floor and slide it rearward to detach it from the bracket. Disconnect any electrical connections and remove the console from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
