How do you remove and install the door latch, door lock cylinder, and handle on Ford F-150?

For the remedy of the door latch, raise and remove the door trim panel along with the watershield and the window together. Lastly, unscrew the nuts that hold the latch in position on the door particular the retaining screws that are usually at the far end of the door. Pull the latch to align it with the large access hole, and while doing this exercise release the electrical connectors as may be necessary followed by the outer door handle and the rod that interconnects the outer lock cylinder with the latch and finally pull out the latch assembly from the door. For the outside handle and door lock cylinder assembly, first, raise the window and pull the door trim panel as well as the watershield. Remove the actuating rods for the door handle and the lock cylinder through the access hole and the mounting fasteners for the door handle. Remove any electrical connectors which might hamper the process and unscrew the rest to detach the door handle/lock cylinder and door including the removal of the rubber inserts to get to the rest of the fasteners. Reinstallation also deploys the process in the order that is opposite to the removal one.
