Ford F-250 Heater Core

Heater Core in Ford F-250 vehicles is vital in providing heat for the interiors using extra engine heat that would be otherwise wasted. Looking like a miniature radiator, the core is cooled by a water and antifreeze solution that travels near the location of the engine and the air being conditioned in the cabin. Some varieties of the heater cores might be made with aluminum and brass and will include valves or doors to regulate the temperature. In addition to this, the heater core also has a role in dehumidification in conditioned vehicles and can act as spare radiator for the engines. This equipment and part can build up residues and chlorides, and when this happens, they block the drainage system and cause corrosion; they also leak and serious repairs need significant dashboard dismantling.
