How to remove and install oxygen sensors in a Ford Focus?

Two oxygen sensors are in a vehicle, one before and one after the catalytic converter. The first sensor is heated for efficient exhaust gas monitoring. To remove it, remove the heat shield bolts and disconnect the wiring plug. The second sensor is under the oil pan in the exhaust pipe. Avoid contact between wiring and hot exhaust parts. Unscrew and remove the sensor carefully. Clean the sensor if needed, but avoid damaging the tip. Apply anti-seize compound to the sensor threads before tightening. Reconnect the wiring, keeping it away from hot exhaust parts. Check exhaust emissions to verify the sensor's function. Address any fault codes generated by a faulty sensor.
