How to remove and install the rear Sway Bar Bushing and Sway Bar Link on a Ford Mustang?

The manufacturer advises using new fasteners for sway bar kit and links installation. Note that replacement bushings and sway bars differ for coupes and convertibles. Ensure the correct part for your vehicle. Start by raising the vehicle's rear and supporting it on jackstands under the frame. Remove and discard the link-to-chassis fasteners. Detach the sway bar kit brackets from the rear axle brackets and remove the bar. Inspect the bushings for damage and replace if necessary. Lubricate new bushings with silicone spray and attach them to the bar. Reinstall in reverse order, tightening all fasteners to the specified torque. Finally, remove the jackstands and lower the vehicle.
