Lubricate and install the piston, boot, and bolt insulators. Reinstall the caliper, connect brake hose, bleed brakes, and test operation. For 1975-1990 rear calipers, also disconnect the parking brake cable, inspect, and reinstall brake pads. Adjust the piston, reconnect and adjust parking brake, reinstall wheels, and test. For 1991-1992 Mark VII rear calipers, disconnect parking brake, remove caliper, and replace if necessary. Reinstall brake pads, caliper, and slider pins. Clean pinch bolt threads and apply thread-locking compound. Install brake hose with new washers, bleed the system.
