How do you remove and replace the master cylinder in your Lincoln MKX?

First of all, begin by locating the brake master cylinder under the hood of your car. Take out the other parts until you reach the cylinder. Remove fluid from the reservoir. Detach the brake booster check valve and electrical connector. Crack open line fittings and cap line ends. Unfasten the nuts attaching it and gently draw it off. Put it on the power brake booster, and snug down brake line fittings. Refill the reservoir, bleed the brake master cylinder and brake system, and test your brakes before use.
