    Detach the clips and lift the cover off the filter housing. Remove the filter element and wipe the inside of the air cleaner housing with a clean cloth. Place the new air filter element in the housing, ensuring that if the element is marked TOP, the marked side faces up. Seat the tabs, rotate the cover into place, and secure it with the clips.

    Loosen the air cleaner outlet tube clamp. Unfasten the cover clips and lift the cover off. Lift out the filter. Wipe the inside of the air cleaner housing with a clean cloth. Place the new air filter in the housing. If the filter is marked TOP, be sure the top side faces up. Reinstall the cover and secure the clips. Reconnect the outlet hose to the air cleaner.
