    What is the procedure for removing the headlight unit on the 2009 Ford Focus? Posted by Customer

    1. Apply the parking brake, jack up the front of the vehicle, and support it on axle stands. 2. Remove one screw from the plastic fender shield and pull the plastic back for access. 3. Remove the headlamp bottom securing bolt. 4. Lower the vehicle and remove the radiator grille. 5. Disconnect the wiring multi-plug for the headlight unit. 6. Unscrew the mounting bolts from the top of the headlight unit and withdraw the unit from the front of the vehicle. 7. Installation is a reversal of removal. Have the headlight alignment checked.
