If one wants to remove sealed beam headlights, one can begin by loosening the screws on the retaining ring and then removing the ring. The front side of the headlight bulb should be slid out so that it can be disconnected from the cable assembly plug. On the other hand, one can install a new light bulb by joining the wiring assembly connector with a new bulb and carefully pushing it in its place. Retaining screws are used to attach the retaining ring in place after which the headlight trim is put back into position using screws.
