    To remove the axleshaft, loosen lug nuts on rear wheels, raise vehicle on jackstands, remove wheels, brake components, and carrier cover. Drain differential lubricant and remove differential shaft lock-bolt and pinion shaft. Push axleshafts towards center, remove C-locks, and extract axleshafts without harming oil seal. Use rear axle bearing remover to withdraw bearing and oil seal. Clean housing bore, lubricate new bearing, and install. Apply grease to axleshaft seal and install with installation tool or socket. Reinstall axleshaft, install C-lock, and position pinion shaft. Apply thread-locking compound to lock-bolt, install and tighten. Clean gasket surface, apply silicone sealant, and install cover and bolts. Refill axle, install brake components, wheels, and lug nuts. Lower vehicle and tighten lug nuts.
