    What are the steps for replacing the headlight switch on the 2004 Ford Expedition? Posted by Customer

    1. Refer to the Warning at the beginning of this Section. 2. Remove the driver's knee bolster. 3. On models where the switch panel is removable, pry the panel out and disconnect the electrical connectors, then remove the screws securing the switch to the back of the panel. 4. On models where the switch is mounted to the instrument panel, disconnect the electrical connector from behind, then release the tabs securing the switch to the instrument panel.

    Reach up along the side of the switch (on the side nearest the driver's door) and push the knob release button. While holding the button down, pull the knob and shaft out of the switch.
