    On 2010 and earlier models, it is located in the engine compartment on a bracket bolted to the left strut tower. On 2011 and later models, it is mounted on the top of the intake manifold.

    Follow the same steps as for a four-cylinder engine, but also disconnect the EVAP line quick-connect fitting. On 2014 and earlier models and 3.5L V6 models, remove the purge valve mounting bolts and remove the valve. On 2015 and later 2.7L models, unclip the purge valve from the mounting bracket and remove the assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal, using a new O-ring.
